Certificate of Non-registration

Read more about non-registration and what to do if you have not been registered as a medical doctor.

If you are not currently registered as a medical doctor and are unable to upload a license to practice medicine for verification through EPIC, you must instead upload a certificate of non-registration issued by the relevant competent health authority (such as the ministry or similar organization).

The certificate of non-registration must hold the following information:

  • Confirmation that you are not registered with a license to practice medicine.
  • Verification that you have never been registered and that no previous registration has been revoked.
  • Assurance that you have never been subject to disciplinary actions or any other adverse actions.
  • A statement indicating that you would be eligible for registration if you were to apply today.

If you have resided in multiple countries, you may be asked to provide more than one certificate of non-registration after undergoing an assessment.

The competent health authority may also provide you with a form (in Word format) to fill out, which you can subsequently upload for verification through EPIC.
