All applications for Danish authorization (license to practice) are processed and decided by the Danish Patient Safety Authority.
To ensure the validity of an applicant’s registration (license to practice), they must have their credentials verified by the competent authority in the country of work or their most recent country of residence.
There are two ways to accomplish this:
- The competent health authority fills out and signs the provided form (in Word format).
- The competent health authority issues their own certificate of good standing containing the same information as that provided in our form. The certificate must bear the official letterhead and stamp of the issuing authority.
Our form or the certificate must be placed in an envelope and sealed by the authority. The authority’s name, address and logo/stamp(s) must be clearly visible on the envelope, otherwise we will not accept the contents of the envelope.
The authority must either send the sealed envelope to us or give it to the applicant or another party of their choice. Kindly take note that we do not accept any emails.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation in this matter and thank you in advance for your assistance. If you have any questions regarding the above, please feel free to contact us.
