The authorization process and the required documentation depend on the country of your nationality and the country where you obtained your qualifications as a medical doctor.
Medical Doctor
If you want to work as a medical doctor in Denmark, you must apply for Danish registration.

Communication
As stated in the Danish Authorization Act, medical doctors are required to practice their profession with care and conscientiousness. This also includes maintaining sound communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. The relevant authority evaluates whether the medical doctor meets the criteria outlined in the Danish Authorization Act.
Specialist Training
Once you have received Danish authorization and permission to work independently as a doctor, you may commence specialist training in Denmark. You can find information about specialist training including a list of approved curricula by speciality on the website of the Health Authority.
