Information

For parents and those who have been conceived via sperm donation

The media is currently reporting on a case about a Danish sperm bank that involves children in several countries. This may cause concern for parents and donor-conceived children.

If you are a woman who has been treated with donor sperm and you have concerns or questions about the donor used in your fertility treatment, you can contact the fertility clinic where you were treated.

If you are a donor-conceived child and you have concerns or questions, you can also contact the fertility clinic that performed the treatment.

The Danish Patient Safety Agency does not have information about specific donors or fertility treatments and so we cannot answer questions about specific treatments.

However, we can help you with information about which clinic has taken over your data if the fertility clinic where you were treated has closed.
