Application for authorization for medical doctors from non-EU countries

Use this application form if you have completed your training outside an EU/EEA country.

Your application will contain 4 steps

  1. Completing the application form.
  2. Uploading the documentation.
  3. Approval of the entered information.
  4. Payment of the fee.

We will send you a receipt for both application and payment by Digital Post, if you have a Danish CPR number, or to your registered email address.

Please note that you cannot save the application in progress. You must start over if you cannot complete the application.

After the application

  • You must further establish an EPIC account at The Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG®), a member of Instealth, in the USA to primary-source verify your medical credentials. Please note it may take some time to have your credentials verified. Please make sure to send your EPIC reports to us, only when you have fill out our online application form.

When you apply for Danish authorization, we will process the data that you have entered into the form. We may collect further relevant data from other public authorities and educational institutions, that are necessary for the processing of your application.
