The European Professional Card (EPC) is an electronic procedure that allows you to have your professional qualifications recognized in another EU country. It is a simpler and faster method compared to traditional qualification recognition procedures. Additionally, it provides greater transparency as you can easily track your application online and reuse previously uploaded documents when applying for different countries.

Currently, the EPC procedure is available for the following professionals:

• Nurses responsible for general care
• Physiotherapists

The EPC procedure can be used if you are a nurse responsible for general care or a physiotherapist and:

• You wish to practice your profession temporarily and occasionally in another EU country (temporary mobility)
• You want to permanently settle in another EU country and practice your profession there (establishment)
